The name says it all; created by a number of farmers from villages with names like Bermudian Landing, and Lemonal, the community Baboon Sanctuary offers a home to the Black Howler Monkeys in their area. These primates live in a perfect habitat in the wild; the riverine forest of the fertile Belize River area.
Prepared jungle paths take the visitor on a tour of the world of the Howler, who often come down near the ground and may be feet away from your cameras. Shy and quiet they certainly are not – their howling can be heard for miles! A great wildlife tour!
Includes: A/C bus, guides, entrance fees, bottled water and lunch.
Duration: 6 hrs.
